Formerly Birchie's Sweet Shop...that cozy, community restaurant and bakery on the square in Smithville, The Sweet Shop is now in it's third generation! Though we are no longer located on the square, The Sweet Shop continues to provide sweet treats to our community and surrounding areas.
We specialize in Wedding Cakes, Custom Cakes, Dessert Buffets and Signature Treats - cake donuts, gourmet candy and homemade pies & cookies, to list a few.
And for any holiday or special occasion, we offer gift baskets full of delicious Sweet Shop goodies!
The Cupcake Club
If your child has had a cake made by The Sweet Shop, and would like the opportunity to have a temporary picture posted with his or her cake on our website, please submit photos to the following email: sl_williams@comcast.net. A new photo will be chosen every few months (when photos are available). If your child's photo is chosen, you will receive $10.00 toward your next order.
